THE Modbo is TWO!!

And Now We Are Two: The Modbo’s Second Birthday Celebration

Please join us at 9 pm, this Friday, June 17th, $5 suggested donation, for a very special Modbo Birthday Party.

Local bands Changing Colors, Constellation of Cars, and HEADHUM will perform throughout the evening, along with classical selections from this year’s Colorado College Summer Music Festival (CCSMF) participants.  Two very special collaborative pieces will also be presented.  A string quartet from the CCSMF will play with Joe Johnson and The Changing Colors on the song, “Brother Mountain,” the arrangement for which was created by Ian Bourgal of The Changing Colors.  A group of nine CCSMF students will play on a song by Andy Tanner and Kellie Palmblad of HEADHUM and Constellation of Cars.  This piece, “Lorraine,” was arranged by Mark Arnest.

Please don’t miss this amazing night of musical chaos, as we move quickly from band to band, ensemble to ensemble, and genre to genre (not to mention, building to building and alley to alley)!
