Two New Shows this Friday: Nackt at S.P.Q.R. and New Modboco at The Modbo!
The Modbo and S.P.Q.R. present two new shows opening on Friday, January 14th and running through Friday, February 4th. Both opening receptions will begin at 5:30 pm and go until midnight. There will be live music by Mike Clark at 9 pm and by Grant Sabin at 10pm.
S.P.Q.R. will feature Nackt, an exhibition of nude photography by Holly Garlow, Alberto Leopizzi, and Randal Barbera. Nackt is comprised of large format photography, taken by three photographers with fascinatingly distinct takes on their chosen media. Meanwhile, The Modbo will present works by the newest members of its Collective: Nina Peterson, Patrick Harden, and Christine Murphy. Don’t miss this exciting show, filled with narrative figurative pieces executed in very different styles and media.
